Cavenago presents Fremito commerciale, a work that fuses the ordinary and the industrial through the use of a steel shopping trolley, a moto-vibrator and a proximity sensor. The sculpture is activated when the sensor detects the presence of an individual, powering the moto-vibrator for a few seconds and causing the trolley to vibrate. This mechanical gesture reproduces the familiar noise of trolleys roaming supermarket aisles, transforming everyday experience into a critical and ironic reflection. Created for a group exhibition hosted in a former shop, the work dialogues with the exhibition space, evoking memories and commercial interactions, while destabilising the public's expectations of contemporary art.
